Laura is an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Enrique Latoison. She graduated from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in May 2011 with honors (cum laude). Laura has excelled in the fields of litigation and criminal law, earning awards at the collegiate level as well as in law school. At the University at Albany, Laura was awarded the Donald J. Newman Award for Outstanding Achievement from the School of Criminal Justice and was a member of the Moot Court team. At The Beasley School of Law, Laura was granted The Jacob Kossman Memorial Scholarship and won The Lenard Sigal Memorial Award, both for excellence in criminal law. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was a semi-finalist at The Samuel L. Polsky competition.

Laura’s prior experience is similarly focused in the criminal law field. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Gwendolyn N. Bright, a homicide judge in Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas. After that, Laura dedicated her time to working on behalf of criminal defendants. She was a law clerk at Nino V. Tinari and Associates, and participated in Temple Law’s clinical program with the Public Defender’s Association of Philadelphia, where she was first able to represent defendants in court, which remains her passion today.
